Alexander Botzki

In 2016, Alexander took on the role of ELIXIR Belgium Training Coordinator. As member of the steering committee, he is involved in the strategic planning of the Node. Together with the ELIXIR Belgium Bioinformatics trainer and the other ELIXIR partners, Alexander establishes a Belgian ELIXIR training programme. Since mid of 2014, Alexander is heading the central Bioinformatics Core at VIB, the Flemish Institute of Biotechnology, Belgium. The main mission of the facility is providing bioinformatics training, scientific software development, and the integration of bioinformatics datasets for the VIB scientists.
